Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Construction Project Coordinator position with an Oklahoma Company.

Ideal candidate will have a degree or a minimum of 5 years in the construction industry. Candidate preference will be given to those with Commercial and Civil construction experience.

Shift: Days
Hours: Varies depending on job
Starting Pay: $45,000 – $65,000 annually; depending on experience

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with their assigned Building Team in communicating at the highest level with clients, architects, engineers, design partners, subcontractors, trades and internal staff.
  • Assists Project Manager with coordination of commercial projects ensuring the non-compromise quality, schedule management, safety and budget control.
  • Coordinates and Reviews the shop drawings and submittals
  • Interfaces with the Architect’s Representative on shop drawings and submittals
  • Establishes and follows up on delivery dates for long lead time items and expediting material orders
  • Coordinates with the Warranty Manager for coalition of Operation and Maintenance Manuals for equipment to be turned over to the Owner at project end and review of as-built drawings.
  • As applicable, the ability to manage multiple projects at various locations concurrently.
  • Manages and sets client expectations and professionally addresses concerns or issue escalation.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in ground up and reconstruction projects
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably 10 – 25 years.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Results-driven, with ability to effectively manage and follow-up on multiple priorities.
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work with construction management software
  • Proven supervision and management skills to motivate/manage people and teams.

Required Education Level:

  • A minimum of a 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry in a management role in lieu of education/degree
