Our client, a locally trusted provider of lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, hardware, and installation services, is seeking a customer-focused Sales Support Associate to join their growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning new products, and eventually growing into a full sales role.

Job Description

The Sales Support Associate is the first point of contact for customers both in-store and over the phone. You’ll support daily operations, assist with order follow-up, and learn the company’s product lines across multiple lighting and hardware brands. Team members are empowered to use their judgment and do what is best for the customer, making this a great place to build a long-term career.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–5:30 PM and Saturdays 8:45 AM–3:00 PM. Saturdays are required. Sunday + one additional weekday off each week.
Compensation: $15 per hour + DOE

Responsibilities

Answer incoming customer calls and provide professional, friendly assistance.
Contact customers promptly when orders arrive or updates are available.
Learn the company’s lighting, ceiling fan, hardware, and fixture brands to support customer inquiries.
Assist with order processing, product lookups, and basic administrative tasks.
Provide support to the sales team and prepare to transition into a sales role over time.
Maintain a customer-first approach in all interactions.

Requirements / Qualifications

Strong customer service mindset with a positive, helpful attitude.
Confident and professional phone communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency; ability to navigate systems and look up product information.
Willingness to learn a wide range of lighting and hardware products.
Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required.
