Our client, a well-established equipment company in Muskogee, OK, is seeking an experienced PDI Technician to assemble, inspect, and prepare agricultural and construction equipment to ensure it meets performance and safety standards before reaching the customer.

Job Description

Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$23/hr DOE 


This is a Safety Sensitive Position 

Responsibilities

• Assemble and set up new agricultural and construction equipment according to manufacturer specifications
• Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure equipment is complete, safe, and operating properly
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for proper operation
• Identify, diagnose, and correct deficiencies found during assembly or inspection
• Verify fluid levels, torque settings, tire pressures, safety features, and other manufacturer specifications
• Test completed equipment to ensure proper functionality before sale or delivery
• Accurately document work performed, inspections, findings, and repairs
• Communicate with service and parts departments to resolve equipment needs or concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform light equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
• Assist with additional service department duties as needed

Requirements / Qualifications

• Previous equipment assembly, service, maintenance, or mechanical repair experience
• Strong mechanical background and hands-on aptitude
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems preferred
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift, pull, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to obtain company-provided forklift certification
