Laser Operator
We are currently looking to fill a Laser Operator position with an established manufacturing company in Tulsa, OK.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating metal forming or fabrication machinery and be comfortable working from blueprints and work orders. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to take accurate measurements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–3:30 AM
Pay: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience
This is a safety-sensitive position.
Responsibilities
• Operate laser cutting equipment to process metal materials according to production specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions
• Measure materials accurately and verify dimensions throughout the production process
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet required specifications
• Monitor equipment and finished products for quality and accuracy
• Load, position, and handle materials as needed for production
• Perform repetitive tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements / Qualifications
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch
• Previous experience operating metal forming, fabrication, or similar manufacturing machinery preferred
• Experience reading blueprints and/or work orders preferred
• Experience using precision measuring tools preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and standing
• Ability to wear all required PPE, including a hard hat and safety glasses
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
