Yard Hand
We are currently looking to fill a Yard Hand position with a local company in Tulsa that specializes in the rental of tools & equipment.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in tools & equipment pertaining to the construction & landscaping industries. This individual will aspire to be a subject matter expert for any equipment in the yard.
Hours: Monday - Saturdays 7:30a - 5:30p - will work (5 of 6) days each week
Pay: $18 - 20/hr+ DOE
Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert in construction & lawncare equipment
- Encourages teamwork & demonstrates a proactive mindset towards helping others
- Loading / unloading equipment from trailers
- Demonstrate proper use & functions of equipment
- Power wash equipment & performing preventative maintenance on (checking/changing oil and fluids, etc.)
- Carrying out the initial inspection of equipment to make sure there was no damage done
- Assisting front desk and shop mechanic when necessary & perform other duties as required
Requirements / Qualifications
- Construction or landscaping background preferred
- Working outside
- Customer service skills
- Strong work ethic & self-motivated
- Driver's License required for possible deliveries to customers
- Steel-Toed Boots
