Job Description
In this role, you will assist in the installation, service, and repair of various garage doors and dock equipment across the greater Tulsa area. While prior experience in the industry is beneficial, it is not required for this position. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in construction or mechanical work who are eager to learn and grow within the industry.
Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: $17/hr (More may be considered for direct experience)
Responsibilities
- Assist in installing a variety of garage doors and dock equipment, including residential and commercial installations.
- Follow manufacturer's installation instructions to ensure safety, functionality, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair new and existing equipment as needed.
- Perform periodic maintenance tasks on garage doors and related equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Loading and unloading doors, tracks, openers, and tools at the warehouse and job sites
- Carrying materials, setting up ladders, and handling the physical parts of each install
- Assisting with warehouse tasks: receiving parts, updating inventory counts, and
preparing trucks for the installation teams
Requirements / Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Familiarity with building and construction principles ideal.
- Ability to read electrical schematics a plus.
- Basic welding and wiring skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in using computer programs and systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record and insurability.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including cramped spaces and outdoor conditions.
- Capable of performing manual labor and using power tools safely.
