We have a local company seeking a licensed alarm technician to join their team!
Job Description
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Licensed Alarm Technician to install and maintain cutting-edge security systems across a wide range of commercial and residential locations—including hospitals, schools, offices, warehouses, and homes.
Hours: 8am-5pm
Starting Pay: $20-$30/hr
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and troubleshoot network-connected systems, including:
- Video surveillance (CCTV/IP cameras)
- Electronic access control
- Burglar and commercial fire alarm systems
- Work with routers, firewalls, switches, and system servers
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure systems meet safety and security needs
Requirements / Qualifications
- All applicants must have an acceptable driving record with an Oklahoma driver's license
- Current Oklahoma alarm license with endorsements for: Commercial Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, CCTV and Access Control
- Familiarity with networking (routers, switches, firewalls), IP-based systems, and servers
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with both hand and power tools a must
- Applicants must have their own dependable transportation to and from our office each day along with basic hand tools
- Minimum 2 years alarm experience
- Prior experience with installing, programming, and servicing access control systems.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
