Rental Coordinator
We are currently looking to fill a Rental Coordinator position with an equipment company located in Bixby, OK. This position will oversee the day-to-day rental process, including coordinating equipment rentals and returns, maintaining rental inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring equipment is ready and available for use.
Job Description
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $24-$27/hr DOE
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day equipment rental operations, including rental orders, scheduling, contracts, invoicing, and payments
- Assist customers in person, over the phone, through email, and online to understand their equipment needs and provide appropriate rental options
- Manage rental inventory, including equipment acquisition, returns, storage, cleaning, and maintenance coordination
- Perform regular equipment inspections to ensure rental equipment is safe and in proper working condition
- Track inventory levels and equipment availability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked work area
- Work closely with sales, service, warranty, and other departments as needed
- Learn company equipment, products, platforms, and software systems
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment and work toward departmental goals
Requirements / Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience overseeing or coordinating rental equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable learning and working within computer software and company systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask throughout the day
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Must be able to pass company-provided forklift certification
- Previous experience safely operating a forklift preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to safely handle and manipulate equipment and other objects
- Ability to use a computer and other standard office equipment
