Manufacturing Engineer
We are currently looking to fill a Manufacturing Engineer position with a well-established manufacturing company located in Tulsa, OK. This position will work within a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and play a key role in improving production processes, supporting machine assembly, and implementing engineering improvements.

Pay: $80,000–$120,000/year DOE
Physical & Work Environment
- Primarily inside a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment
- Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, push, or pull approximately 20–25 lbs
- Ability to safely work around manufacturing machinery and equipment
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys being hands-on in a machinery manufacturing environment and wants to combine engineering knowledge with practical problem-solving on the production floor.
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes, workflow, and production methods to identify opportunities for improved efficiency
- Evaluate production sequences and recommend improvements to maximize equipment, facility, and personnel utilization
- Validate BOMs, work instructions, and other manufacturing documentation against production and customer requirements
- Create and update manufacturing work instructions
- Troubleshoot production issues, machine assembly challenges, and process delays
- Identify and standardize improvements across multiple machine platforms
- Support the implementation of engineering changes into production
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prepare new machines and products for production release
- Support quality initiatives, process improvements, and manufacturing documentation updates
- Apply Lean/Six Sigma and industrial engineering principles to workflow, equipment placement, and space utilization
- Assist with the design and development of assembly fixtures, jigs, and test equipment
- Work with outside vendors on manufacturing fixtures and testing equipment
- Translate 3D assembly models and detailed drawings into practical manufacturing processes while identifying Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements
- Participate in DFMEA and DFA reviews and drive PFMEA activities for new products and significant design changes
- Manage multiple engineering projects and priorities simultaneously
- Periodically travel domestically as needed
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a machinery manufacturing environment preferred
- Hands-on machine assembly experience required
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with electrical and electromechanical systems used in industrial machinery
- Familiarity with PLC systems
- Experience working with 3D CAD and engineering drawings; SolidWorks preferred
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system
- Green Belt Lean/Six Sigma certification OR 3+ years of working knowledge using Lean/Six Sigma principles and tools
- Experience with structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis methods such as 8D
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work hands-on with equipment and projects
- Ability to creatively troubleshoot machine issues, design constraints, and manufacturing roadblocks
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively across engineering, production, quality, management, and vendor teams
