Yard Coordinator
We are currently looking to fill a Yard Coordinator position with an established company in Okmulgee, OK, specializing in equipment sales, rentals, and service.
Job Description
This is a hands-on position responsible for helping keep the equipment yard organized, efficient, and ready for customers. The Yard Coordinator will oversee the movement and organization of equipment throughout the lot, assist with rental check-ins and check-outs, maintain equipment and yard appearance, and provide excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, is comfortable operating a variety of equipment, and can take initiative without needing constant direction.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $18–$20/hr, depending on experience
Responsibilities
• Coordinate the receiving, movement, organization, and placement of equipment throughout the yard
• Check rental equipment in and out and help ensure equipment is ready for the next customer
• Arrange and display equipment in an organized, clean, and marketable manner
• Assist customers with equipment pickups, returns, loading, and general questions
• Inspect incoming and outgoing equipment for condition and cleanliness
• Clean and maintain commercial lawn equipment and other gas-powered equipment
• Perform or assist with basic/light equipment maintenance as needed
• Operate forklifts, RTVs, skid steers, backhoes, compact excavators, zero-turn mowers, and other equipment as needed
• Assist with receiving and organizing parts, materials, supplies, and equipment
• Keep the yard, equipment areas, and surrounding workspaces clean and safe
• Communicate with team members regarding equipment location, availability, and condition
• Identify issues with equipment or yard organization and communicate them to the appropriate team member
• Help maintain an efficient workflow and ensure equipment is properly accounted for
Requirements / Qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience operating equipment such as RTVs, skid steers, backhoes, forklifts, compact excavators, and/or zero-turn mowers
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to bend, kneel, walk, and stand for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
• Positive and professional attitude
• Willingness to jump in and assist wherever needed
