Pipe to Flange / Plate Fitter-Welder

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience fitting and welding plate steel, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality work that meets inspection standards. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, plus Saturday overtime available

Pay: $21–$23/hr, depending on experience

• Fit, align, and weld plate steel components used in large industrial air-cooling equipment.

• Fit and weld pipe-to-flange assemblies.

• Perform MIG welding on plate steel, ensuring proper fit and weld quality.

• Produce welds that meet required ultrasonic (UT) and X-ray inspection standards.

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the fitting and welding process.

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Must have experience fitting and welding plate steel.

• Must successfully complete a 3/8-inch plate weld test in the 2G position using MIG welding for the entire weld.

• Weld test must pass ultrasonic (UT) and X-ray inspection.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

• Previous pipe-to-flange fitting or industrial fabrication experience is a plus.

• Must have steel-toe or composite-toe boots on the first day.
