Night Shift Sub Arc Welder

This is a great opportunity for an experienced welder with a background in submerged arc welding who is looking to further develop their skills with a company that offers excellent benefits and opportunities for growth.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating submerged arc welding equipment, particularly with heavy plate welding. We are looking for a dependable individual who takes pride in their craftsmanship, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to producing quality welds.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM, plus Saturday overtime available

Pay: $24.50+/hr, depending on experience

• Operate submerged arc welding (SAW) equipment on heavy steel plate components.

• Perform fill and cap welding on heavy plate welds.

• Produce consistent, quality welds that meet company standards.

• Monitor welding operations and maintain accuracy throughout the welding process.

• Follow established welding procedures and safety guidelines.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

• Must have previous hands-on experience operating submerged arc welding equipment.

• Must successfully complete a 1-inch plate weld test involving fill and cap welding.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and follow established welding procedures.

• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

• Must have steel-toe or composite-toe boots on the first day.
