CDL Class B Rear Load Driver
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking CDL Class B Rear Load Driver for a well-established waste management company in Tulsa, OK. This position is responsible for safely operating a rear load garbage truck along assigned collection routes. The ideal candidate will have previous commercial driving experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle the physical demands of the position.
Job Description
Previous waste management experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with box truck or similar commercial driving experience are encouraged to apply.
Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour
Schedule: 5:00 AM – Until Route Completion
Equipment: Automatic Transmission Trucks
Responsibilities
Safely operate an automatic rear load garbage truck along designated collection routes.
Collect and transport waste from residential and commercial locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Assist with loading and handling waste containers as needed.
Frequently enter and exit the truck throughout the workday.
Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
Communicate equipment issues, route concerns, or safety hazards to management.
Maintain a safe, efficient, and professional work environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid CDL Class B or Class A license required.
Previous commercial driving experience required, with at least some box truck or similar vehicle experience.
Acceptable driving record.
Previous rear load truck or waste management experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and frequent entry and exit from the truck.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Dependable, punctual, and willing to work early mornings until routes are completed.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety.
