Our client, a manufacturing company in the Catoosa area near the Hard Rock Casino, is seeking an experienced Welder to join their 1st shift team. This is a hands-on position for someone with prior welding and fabrication experience who is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM Overtime Opportunities available as needed 
Pay Rate: $20–$26 per hour DOE
Work Environment: Climate-controlled shop

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components and assemblies
  • Fit and weld structural components including platforms, tubing, sheet metal, plate, pipe, and enclosures
  • Perform TIG welding on various materials when experience allows
  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Measure, cut, fit, and prepare materials for welding and assembly
  • Use fabrication and measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, levels, band saws, and grinders
  • Assemble small and large weldments according to specifications
  • Inspect completed work to ensure weld quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with the team on larger projects

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Previous welding and/or fabrication experience required
  • MIG welding experience on carbon steel required
  • TIG welding experience strongly preferred
  • Experience fitting and assembling welded components preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Comfortable using common fabrication tools and measuring equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
