Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Diesel Mechanic position with a Tulsa Company: the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel/Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic.

Our client is a waste handling and recycling company that needs your help in saving the environment and providing crucial services for the Tulsa Community.  This company plays a vital role in the community, and routinely rewards dependable, reliable employees for their service.

 

Shift: 1st, Overtime: Some Possible
Starting Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour, DOE; Contractor does NOT have to carry their own insurance

 

Diesel Mechanic Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Comfortable with every aspect of Diesel engine repair, able to perform a complete rebuild if necessary;
  • Familiarity with brake and hydraulic component repair;
  • Able to complete general heavy duty vehicle maintenance.

Diesel Mechanic Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, stoop, or bend throughout shift;
  • Able to work in non-climate controlled environments when necessary;
  • Must have own tools and valid OK Driver’s License;
  • Excellent safety record.
Required Education Level: High School – GED
