Senior Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Senior Construction Project Manager position with a Oklahoma Company.

 

Ideal candidate will have a degree or a minimum of 7 years in a Construction Project Management position. Candidate preference will be given to those with Commercial and Civil construction experience.

 

Shift: Days
Hours: Varies depending on job
Starting Pay: $100,000 – $125,000 annually; depending on experience

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and increase relationships with general contractors
  • Perform take-off quantities and calculate labor and material quantities for new construction projects
  • Attend bidding and project meetings
  • Increase vendor and subcontractor relationships
  • Build projects prior to start to verify optimal production rates will be met
  • Maintain communication both internally and externally on project
  • Meet and interact with customers and inspectors as needed during projects
  • Assisting in management and scheduling of crews, subcontractors, materials or equipment deliveries to meet production goals
  • Assist in change order processing as needed
  • Review jobs in progress to verify production rates, and make changes as necessary
  • Follow up on job progress and status of project estimates
  • Assist in compiling individual job costing reports and weekly job costing reports
  • Maintain current, accurate information on pricing and cost variance

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a demanding environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in concrete construction estimating and project management, preferably in a flatwork, sitework and structural environment
  • Excellent leadership skills with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely observant with strict attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project skills
  • 5+ years of experience in concrete construction project management

 

Required Education Level:

  • A minimum of a 4-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, business management or related field
  • 7 Years of experience in the concrete construction industry in a management role in lieu of education/degree
